Living to the glory of God. Plus a free 2021 printable calendar.

You’ll find a link below for a free printable 2021 calendar. As we prepare for this new year I’d love to share with you some of the thoughts I’ve had rolling around in my mind.

I often struggle with how to truly live out 1 Corinthians 10:31, to do ‘all things to the glory of God. Quite often I feel as though the mundane tasks of daily life pale in comparison to the grander efforts of others that I hear testimony of. However, when I read this passage of scripture one of the things that always jumps out at me is how Paul included the mundane tasks of life, ‘eat or drink’.

How can Even the simplest of tasks be done to the glory of god?

I believe it has everything to do with our intentions and attitudes. The Lord brought the word intention to my mind and as I read its definition I began to put the pieces together.
definition of intentions: done on purpose; deliberate; purpose or attitude toward the effect of one’s actions or conduct

Our purpose in life, the reason we were created, was to glorify God and love others. When our intention is focused on those two purposes and the attitude of our heart is aligned, then our actions, whether mundane or monumental, are done from a posture that is pleasing and glorifying to God.

Let’s live with intention and love.

Whatever stage of life we are in, whatever our unique giftings may be, let’s embrace the opportunity we have each day to glorify God and love well.

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:10
