Living to the Glory of God + a 2023 Printable Calendar
Below for a free printable 2023 calendar. As we head into this new year I’d love to share some things I’ve been mulling over…

It’s often been a struggle for me to wrap my head around how to live out 1 Corinthians 10:31, ‘do all things to the glory of God’. Do the mundane tasks of life really apply, I mean, how can they really? Yet, then there’s that part of the verse, ‘whether you eat or drink’! Those are pretty mundane tasks that Paul included.
How can even the simplest of tasks be done to the glory of god?
I’ve been pondering the word intention quite a bit. As I read its definition it helped me wrap my mind around this thought some more. Intention: done on purpose; deliberate; purpose or attitude toward the effect of one’s actions or conduct.
We know from Scripture that our purpose in life, the reason we were created, is to walk in relationship with God and to love others. So, it would seem that when our intention is focused on those two purposes and the attitude of our heart aligns to those purposes, then our actions, mundane or monumental, are pleasing and glorifying to God.
Living with intention and love.
As the years fly by, and boy are they flying by quickly the older I get, I truly want to love well. It’s said that you either get better or bitter as you age, oh how I want to grow better! Let’s encourage one another to love well! I’d love to hear your thoughts on this passage, has it ever been a tricky one for you to wrap your mind around?
Below: We celebrated our grandson Judah’s 3rd birthday and Aunt Hannah has a gift for baking. Her all time favorite things to bake are the birthday cakes for her nephews and niece’s and they are always SO excited to see what she bakes for them! Kudos to Hannah girl for loving well! ❤︎
