Watermelon Sherbert

Easy 4 ingredient Watermelon Sherbet. Perfect for a hot summer day, fun party or simply to enjoy on your own!

Ingredients

Watermelon (cubed and frozen)

Sweetened condensed milk

Lime Juice

Salt

How To Make Watermelon Sherbet

Honestly, it’s pretty plain and simple.

Cut and weigh out your watermelon. Place in a freezer bag and pop in the freezer until completely frozen (a few hours)

Place all ingredients in the base of a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth!

That’s it my friends.

Serve immediately as a watermelon sherbet “soft serve.” Or place in a container and cover and place in freezer to scoop later.

I usually pull it out of the freezer and let it sit for a few minutes before scooping.

Make Your Watermelon Sherbet “Dairy Free”

To make this sweet treat dairy free I have used sweetened condensed coconut milk. It’s a little bit on the sweeter side, so I recommend starting with a little less and building up to taste. Every brand is different though, so make sure to taste test!

The coconut taste adds a whole new depth of flavor to this watermelon treat. 10 out or 10 recommend.

Watermelon Party

We love any excuse to gather together. So in the summer we decided to throw a “watermelon” themed party just for fun! This watermelon sherbet was one of the many fun treats we made that day.

Notes

TO MAKE DAIRY FREE – I use sweetened condensed coconut milk. I have found that this substitute is a tad sweeter (depending on the brand you use). I recommend starting with a little less than the recipe calls for and adding more until you reach your desired sweetness.
